Most nationalities can obtain a Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You'll need a valid passport (at least 6 months validity) and the visa fee in cash (USD preferred). Fees are currently $30 for 15 days, $50 for 30 days, and $125 for 90 days.
We offer treks ranging from 'Easy' (lower altitude, 5-7 hours walking) to 'Challenging' (high altitude, 7-9 hours walking, steep terrain). Most 'Moderate' treks like Annapurna Circuit are accessible to anyone with a good level of fitness and a positive attitude.
During the trek, you will stay in local 'Teahouses'. These are mountain lodges providing twin-sharing rooms with basic beds, blankets, and pillows. Most have common dining areas warmed by a central stove. While simple, they offer a cozy and authentic Himalayan experience.
Yes, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. It must specifically cover emergency helicopter evacuation and medical expenses at altitudes up to 6,000 meters. We recommend policies that also cover trip cancellation and loss of personal belongings.
